Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of handlynotes.com and its text‑to‑handwriting converter (together, the "Service"), operated by HandlyNotes ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service

HandlyNotes lets you convert typed text into a handwritten‑style image or PDF, entirely within your browser. The Service is provided free of charge. We may add, change, or remove features at any time, and we may limit or discontinue the Service without notice.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service lawfully and responsibly. In particular, you must not:

• use the Service to create content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, hateful, or that impersonates another person or forges documents;
• present generated output as genuine handwriting where authentic handwriting is required, or use it to deceive, commit fraud, or gain an unfair advantage (for example, misrepresenting authorship of academic work);
• attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse‑engineer for malicious purposes, or interfere with the Service or its security; or
• use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or the rights of others.

You are solely responsible for the text you enter and for how you use the output you create.

Your content

You keep all rights to the text you convert and the pages you produce. Because conversion happens in your browser, we never receive, store, or claim any rights over your content.

Intellectual property

The HandlyNotes name, website, design, and original code are owned by us or our licensors. The handwriting fonts bundled with the Tool are provided by their respective creators under their own open‑font licences; see the attribution file distributed with the Site. You may use the pages you generate for your own lawful purposes.

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of output. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error‑free, or that the generated handwriting will meet a specific requirement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HandlyNotes and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Because the Service is free, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid to use it, which is zero.

Third‑party links and advertising

The Site may contain links to third‑party websites and may display advertising (including Google AdSense). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties. Your use of advertising and external sites is subject to their terms and our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict‑of‑law rules. Any disputes will be subject to the courts having jurisdiction in India.
